What Standards from Standards Australia does Fuelchief Meet?

AS1940 – This Standard sets out requirements and recommendations for the safe storage and handling of flammable liquids of dangerous goods Class 3, as classified in the UN Recommendations for the Transport of Dangerous Goods—Model Regulations and listed in the ADG Code. This Standard also provides requirements and recommendations for the storage and handling of combustible liquids. To find out more please download the document here.

AS1692 – This Standard specifies requirements for the design and construction of steel tanks for the storage of flammable and combustible liquids. It sets out requirements for tank joints and accessories (e.g. vents, manholes, fill level indicators) and specifies tank testing requirements. To find out more download the document here.

AS1170 – This Standard sets out procedures for determining wind speeds and resulting wind actions to be used in the structural design of structures subjected to wind actions other than those caused by tornadoes. The Standard covers structures within the following criteria: (a) Buildings less than or equal to 200 m high; (b) Structures with roof spans less than 100 m; (c) Structures other than offshore structures, bridges and transmission towers.

AS1657 – This Standard sets out requirements for the design, selection, construction and installation of fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders that are intended to provide safe access to places used by operating, inspection, maintenance and servicing personnel.
